Quik Splice Tape Splicer Instructions
I've scanned both pictures and text as one
item but just in case the text is not legible, I have also keyed in
the text below the image.

1. Trim end of each film strip as
close to the last sprocket hole as possible. Either side
of the cutting blade may be used.
2. Place the first strip of film over
the prongs. The last sprocket hole should be on the prong
marked with the arrow.
3. Place second strip of film on
prongs. The last sprocket hole should also be on prong
marked with arrow. One strip of film now overlaps
the other at this point only. Emulsion (dull side) of
both film strips must face in the same
4. Place a Quik Splice patch over the
film with the sprocket holes in the red flap on
the two lower prongs.
5. Hold the red flap of the
Quik Splice patch firmly with your finger. Peel off the
free half of the paper backing slowly. Rub the
spliced area to assure bonding.
6. Turn the film over and replace on
prongs. Peel off the remaining paper backing
slowly. Remove film from prongs. Rub both
sides to assure a permanent bond.
