Praktica cameras

This is not a complete collection of everything there is to know about Praktica cameras. Information from our collection of advertising and magazines is patchy. If more information becomes available, it will be posted here.

The Praktica was originally a camera from K.W. (Kameraworkwerkstatten Niedersedlitz). In post-war Germany, the factory was in East Germany and it became V.E.B. Kameraworkwerkstatten Niedersedlitz. In 1964 it was absorbed into the V.E.B. Pentacon group.
