Uses LLC lenses and accessories. Interchangeable
viewfinders, pentaprism, waist level finder, focusing magnifier and
choice of screens. Full aperture t.t.l. metering. Match-needle coupled
CdS meter. Vertical focal plane shutter, stainless steel, 1-1/1000,
B. Flash sync, X at 1/125, B at 1/30. Delayed action. Angled shutter
release on front of camera. Top plate and pentaprism light alloy die-casting
with satin finish. Single stroke lever wind. No hot shoe but there
is a co-axial socket. Fresnel screen with microprism spot. Sign in
finder when not wound on. Depth of field preview. Non-rotating shutter
speed dial. Filter size 49 mm. Viewfinder window is slotted to allow
an eyecup to be fitted. Correction lenses fit into the eyecup. 12
- 1600 ASA. Takes PX21 4.5 v. battery.
Meter has very small angle of acceptance
- effectively it is spot meter. As a guide, the area measured is about
that of the split-image circle and in that position.
Viewfinders and screens are compatible
with those used on the Exakta RTL 1000.
