The Vitoret was made from about 1960 to 1971, although it was not available in this country until about 1963. The original camera has a 50 mm. f/2.8 Vaskar lens in Prontor 125 shutter with flash contact, lever wind, accessory shoe and brightline finder. The metal body is trimmed with leatherette, and the camera cost about £12. In about 1966 the specification changed to use the three element 50 mm. f/2.8 Color Lanthar lens, and the cost rose to £18.
